DVSC is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join an established team and become part of a respected surgical community with a strong legacy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You’ll work alongside two experienced surgeons at your home hospital while also having access to a network of 13 DVSC surgeons across the DFW metroplex. With CT, fluoroscopy, and close collaboration with Emergency and Internal Medicine teams, you’ll have the resources and peer support to provide advanced surgical care while maintaining meaningful autonomy in your practice. Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures based on your clinical interests and expertise. Collaborate with experienced surgeons across DVSC’s DFW network. Work closely with Emergency, Internal Medicine, and referring veterinarians to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Utilize advanced imaging and surgical resources, including CT and fluoroscopy. Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians throughout North Texas. Participate in case consultation, mentorship, and continuing education. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You BringDVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure. Board Certification in Surgery or Residency Trained in Surgery. Strong surgical skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach. A collaborative mindset and commitment to building strong relationships with referring veterinarians. A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
