Base Salary: $75,000OTE: $120,000$150,000+ | Uncapped Commission

We are looking for an Outside Sales Executive to grow its Kansas City market. This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who wants the freedom to develop a territory, build a strong book of business and directly benefit from the revenue they create. This company has been serving businesses throughout the region for decades, providing a broad portfolio of packaging, janitorial, sanitation, safety, industrial, shipping and business supplies. Our customers rely on us not simply for products, but for responsive service, practical solutions and long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do:
  • Prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals and field activity.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers across manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, distribution and other commercial environments.
  • Meet with customers to understand their operations, challenges and purchasing needs.
  • Recommend products and solutions that improve efficiency and deliver value.
  • Prepare quotes, pricing and contract terms.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and introduce customers to new products and services.
  • Negotiate and close new business.
  • Grow existing accounts through additional product lines and solutions.
  • Partner with internal customer service and operations teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain consistent sales activity and achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Manage your territory independently while maintaining accurate sales and customer information.
  • Who We're Looking For 25+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience
  • Demonstrated success prospecting and winning new accounts.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, distribution, packaging, janitorial, safety or similar commercial markets is preferred.
  • Adjacent industry experience is absolutely welcome for candidates with a strong B2B sales track record.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • A competitive, persistent and self-motivated approach to sales.
  • Ability to independently manage a territory and prioritize opportunities.
  • Comfort working with CRM/ERP systems and standard business technology.
  • Excel proficiency preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
