Role Description: The Office Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for providing daily administrative and office support to internal teams. This position manages routine tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing and maintaining documents, organizing digital files, and supporting internal communication. The Office Associate responds to inquiries, assists with basic customer service and stakeholder interactions, and coordinates information across departments. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with simple accounting tasks such as invoice tracking and expense reports, updating databases and spreadsheets, and supporting special projects as needed. The role requires consistent attention to detail, timely completion of assignments, and effective collaboration with colleagues in a virtual environment.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to manage schedules, documents, and daily office operations. Candidates should possess foundational Accounting skills to support basic financial tracking, invoicing, and expense management. Candidates should have proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, virtual meeting platforms) and strong organizational skills. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred; experience in civic, social, or utility-related organizations is a plus.
