About the role
Machine Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of production equipment in a fast paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands on, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to quickly resolve downtime Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Inspect machines and identify potential problems before they impact production Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records Collaborate with production teams to support efficient operations Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and troubleshooting skills Experience with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex equipment issues Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs Mentor junior technicians and support training initiatives Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and advanced electrical systems
