About the role
Used And Vintage Admin Associate The Used and Vintage Admin Associate plays an integral role within GC's Used and Vintage organization. This associate acts as a subject matter expert on the valuation and authentication of used instruments, supports the businesses through relevant and informative reporting and assists in addressing and following up on IT and Used/Vintage platform issues (UVM, UPE, GC.COM, POS, etc.). The position is important in terms of the Used Team talent pool/succession planning as it requires a unique skill-set combining knowledge of the Used MI marketplace as well as advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills. Responsibilities/DutiesStore support for acquisitions and inventory/procedural questions Markdown request changes Description changes Routing of inventory/website issues to appropriate Support Center teams Used and Vintage acquisition policy questions Counterfeit/replica acquisition concernsUAT (beta) and quality control testing for IT platforms re bugs, features, and enhancements Daily interfacing with multiple teams across the Enterprise including those that oversee UVM, UPE, ATG (GC.COM), Taxonomy and Inventory Control Monitor and report on competitor price, promotion, assortment and presentation tactics Daily scrubbing of GC.COM listings for incorrect descriptions, images, brands and models Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Business Intermediate knowledge/proficiency with relevant MI products and a strong passion for music (instrument background a plus) Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must have a basic understanding of how marketing and promotions work
