We’re seeking an Architecture Project Manager to lead ground up and repositioning projects across New York and North America. This role is ideal for a technically strong, design-minded leader passionate about adaptive reuse, sustainability, and the transformation of existing buildings into vibrant, future-ready assets.
Your Role: As an Architecture Project Manager, you’ll lead complex ground up, renovation and repositioning projects from early feasibility and concept design through construction. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams — strategists, architects, engineers, and sustainability specialists — to create integrated solutions that balance design vision, performance, and technical precision. You’ll be a trusted partner to clients, guiding them through the process of reimagining their buildings for new possibilities, improved efficiency, and lasting value.
What You’ll Do: Lead all phases of architectural projects, including feasibility, concept, design development, documentation, and construction. Manage interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, sustainable, and high-performance design solutions. Serve as the client’s primary contact, providing strategic guidance and building long-term partnerships. Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure successful outcomes. Direct and review the development of Revit-based design and technical documentation. Coordinate with consultants across structural, MEP, façade, and sustainability disciplines. Coordinate closely with in-house interior architecture, sustainability, strategy and branding teams for a complete design solution. Lead construction administration activities, including site reviews, submittal management, and contractor coordination. Mentor emerging architects and designers, fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
What You Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.7–12 years of professional experience, including 3–5 years leading ground up or building repositioning projects. Strong technical expertise in existing building assessment, envelope design, and construction detailing. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project and BIM coordination workflows; familiarity with BIM 360, Sketchup, Enscape, or similar tools is a plus. Deep understanding of NYC building codes, zoning, sustainability frameworks, and permitting processes. Licensed Architect. LEED AP, WELL AP, Fitwel, or equivalent sustainability credential preferred. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. A human-centered, collaborative approach to problem-solving and design leadership. Soft Skills Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver. Comfortable presenting to clients and managing feedback diplomatically. Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
