About the role

The Security Officer & Community Outreach Worker is responsible for transporting and providing physical protection for the Cook County Treasurer and Treasurer’s Office employees and helps promote and implement the strategic goals and objectives of the Treasurer’s Office throughout the different communities of Cook County. The Security Officer & Community Outreach Worker coordinates with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the Treasurer, Treasurer’s Office employees, and fosters the mission and programs of the office through partnership agreements and involvement with community and faith-based organizations.
