About the role

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services company, is looking for a QA Lead to join their team in Charlotte. This is a 2.5-year project focused on Payments Modernization, requiring a candidate with strong banking knowledge and experience in payment systems like wire and ACH. The QA Lead will oversee multiple work streams and manage set integration efforts, coordinating extensively with various teams including the enterprise testing team. The role involves leading testing activities, supporting test planning, and ensuring end-to-end traceability between requirements, stories, defects, and test cases. This position requires a high level of coordination with the business and involves conducting meetings and mentoring offshore testing resources. What the right candidate will enjoy: Working on a long-term project with a focus on Payments Modernization. Leading a dynamic team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Utilizing cutting-edge tools like Power BI, Jira, and Qtest. What type of experience does the right candidate have: Strong experience with qTest and Jira integration. Payments or banking domain expertise. Experience leading complex enterprise testing programs. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Lead testing activities for Payments Modernization initiatives. Manage and maintain test assets within qTest. Coordinate SIT, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing efforts. Facilitate defect triage and testing status reporting. Mentor offshore/onshore testing resources as needed.
