About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
Validate Salesforce functionality across Salesforce CRM, custom applications, workflows, integrations, and APIs.
Develop automation using Java, Selenium, or other relevant automation frameworks.
Perform API testing for REST/SOAP services and Salesforce integrations.
Work with Apex and SOQL to validate Salesforce business logic and data.
Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects; collaborate with developers to drive issues to resolution.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms.
Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and quality strategy discussions.
Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in SDET, Software Testing, QA Automation, or Quality Engineering.
Strong experience with Salesforce application testing and automation.
Proficiency in Java and Selenium or comparable automation technologies.
Experience with Apex and SOQL.
Strong knowledge of API testing, REST/SOAP services, and system integrations.
Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
Experience with Salesforce DX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with cloud-based applications and enterprise integrations.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
Experience with tools such as Postman, JMeter, Cucumber, or REST Assured.
