Job Details:
Knowledge | Experience | SkillsHigh school diploma or GED. Experience in injection molding. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Must have forklift experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Help troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment.
Do color changes on hoppers and grinders.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Performs mold/equipment changeover process.
Remains "on-call" for equipment failures occurring outside of normal working hours.
Monitor production schedule to assure that all equipment needed is in a production-ready state and to prepare for set up ahead of time.
Identify and present cost-saving opportunities to assist Plant Manager.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop/set up area.
Help do material changeovers as needed.
Keep equipment area clean.
Assist tool room and Plant Manager as needed.
Assist the Plant Manager with special projects as needed.
Enroll in Apprenticeship program.
Required to use a handheld propane torch on the production floor.
