Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care Manage and monitor patients requiringventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and wound care Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to facility standards Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6
Required Qualifications: Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license ACLS certificationthrough the American Heart Association (required at time of submission) BLS certificationthrough the American Heart Association (required at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience in LTAC or a related specialty Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and knowledge of central lines Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience Wound care experience in an acute or long-term acute care setting Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC environment
