Job Description:
NOW HIRING: AUTO BODY ESTIMATOR Autofix Collision is looking for an experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our team!
Location: Long Island, NY
Requirements:
● Minimum 5 years of auto body estimating experience● Must have a valid NYS Independent Adjuster License● Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures● Experience writing accurate, detailed estimates● Knowledge of insurance claims and supplements● Strong communication and customer service skills● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment● CCC ONE / estimating system experience preferred● Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and safety requirements
Responsibilities:
● Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage● Write accurate initial estimates● Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and technicians● Handle supplements and insurance negotiations● Monitor repairs and update estimates as needed● Ensure repairs are documented properly and completed according to OEM procedures● Maintain excellent customer service throughout the repair process Competitive Pay — Based on Experience If you’re an experienced estimator looking for a great opportunity with a busy collision repair facility, we want to hear from you!
