About the role

CMM Programmer The CMM Programmer is responsible for creating, editing, and running coordinate measurement machine (CMM) programs to facilitate the parts inspection process for our internal customers. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Create intermediate/advanced CMM Programs using Zeiss Calypso Layout / dimensional CMM reports Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMMUse micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and various other hand tools. Ability to develop work instructions for CMM set-up and operation for various programs. Participate in the company culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications: Experience with quality control technologies, including coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures, including full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Committed to maintaining customer success through attention to detail on all inspection projects. Can effectively work alongside a cross-functional team to accurately collect and disseminate quality information at all levels of the organization. Well-organized and able to operate in a fast-paced environment. Metrics Driven: Continuously strives for improvement in performance.
