Winder Operator The Winder Operator is responsible for handling finished plastic strapping products, ensuring quality standards are met, and safely packaging materials for shipment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate winding equipment to produce coils according to work orders. Remove completed coils and restart the winding process. Assist with machine setup and stock packaging quality checks using measuring tools and verify product, band, label, package, and prepare coils for shipping or storage. Complete production reports and maintain accurate records. Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred.1-3 months of manufacturing or production experience. Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Requirements: Frequently lift up to 60 lbs. Stand and walk for extended periods. Work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, varying temperatures, and noise (hearing and eye protection required).Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed. Schedule Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
