Akkodis is seeking a Lead Workday Software Engineer for one of our clients in McLean, VA.Rate Range: $75.00 to $82.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. We are seeking a Lead Workday Software Engineer to join a growing Workday Enterprise Capabilities organization. This role requires a strong combination of Workday expertise and software engineering skills, with experience across Core HCM, Financials, and Integrations. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can solve complex challenges, influence stakeholders, and partner with both business and engineering teams to deliver scalable Workday solutions. This is a contract-to-hire position. Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of Workday solutions. Provide expertise across Workday Core HCM, Financials, and Integrations. Apply software engineering best practices to Workday development. Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap planning. Drive process improvements and optimize Workday capabilities. Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled engineering tools. Strong experience with Workday, including Core HCM, Financials, Integrations. Strong software engineering background. Experience serving as a Lead Workday Engineer or similar technical leadership role. Hands-on experience with AI-enabled development tools. Deep Workday expertise combined with strong software engineering skills. Proven technical leader with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
