About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its enterprise commercial strategy, with a focus on driving sustainable cargo growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company's market position. The CCO will be responsible for all commercial functions, including business development, strategic partnerships, and customer relations. This critical leadership role involves aligning commercial strategy with operational capacity, regulatory requirements, and the company's long-term strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial strategy, business development, and transportation or logistics environments, with a strong understanding of supply chain, transportation logistics, and maritime operations. Key responsibilities for the CCO at the company include identifying and assessing opportunities to expand cargo volumes, developing and executing a long-term commercial strategy, and supporting strategic positioning related to regulatory matters. The role also involves overseeing customer relations and experience programs, engaging with government and industry stakeholders, and leading initiatives to improve customer transparency, communication, and service reliability. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership over business development and sales, customer relations and experience, and marketing and communications functions, and to foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.
