EHR Clinical Specialist
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Job Summary:
Archon Resources is seeking an EHR Clinical Specialist to support a State of Oklahoma health services agency in the effective use of their Electronic Health Records system. This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations, IT, agency leadership, and the EHR vendor, supporting training, workflow documentation, system changes, and troubleshooting across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop EHR training and reference materials, and deliver training to staff
- Document workflows and processes tied to the EHR system, and communicate vendor release changes that impact operations
- Track and manage change requests and new EHR requirements from concept through implementation
- Coordinate testing and implementation of EHR changes with program staff, trainers, managers, and the vendor
- Serve as a point of escalation for EHR related questions and escalated support tickets
- Troubleshoot EHR application and interface issues, coordinating fixes with the EHR vendor
- Develop and maintain role based security profiles within the EHR system
- Maintain a change log for interfaces, codes, and system configurations
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or Management, Project Management, Public Health, Nursing, Business, or a related field plus three years of experience. An Associate's degree plus five years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience training staff and maintaining training or reference materials for an EHR system Experience documenting workflows and coordinating EHR changes across multiple stakeholder groups Experience troubleshooting EHR system and interface issues Comfortable serving as a liaison between clinical, technical, and vendor teams Able to work onsite full time in Oklahoma City, Monday through Friday
