About the Role: We’re looking for our first dedicated sales hire to grow our venue network in NYC and help us expand into new cities. You’ll work closely with the founders, get hands-on support, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility as we grow. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role focused on selling to bars, restaurants, and event spaces. You’ll own everything from prospecting, reaching decision-makers, and running demos to following up and closing new business. You’ll also work with our onboarding team to help new partners get live. You’ll build relationships with hospitality operators, understand where partyplace can create the most immediate value, and help each venue find the right starting point with us. You won’t be starting from scratch. We already have an established venue network, proven demand, and an active pipeline. Your job will be to turn that foundation into new venue partners and help improve how we sell along the way. You’ll work directly with the founders on outreach, positioning, demos, and closing, bringing feedback from venue conversations to help refine our approach. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to sell, build relationships, and take ownership in an early-stage company. As you succeed and the team grows, there will be opportunities to help train new hires and grow into a leadership role. About partyplacepartyplace is building the platform that helps bars and restaurants grow their group business, from reaching new customers to managing reservations directly through their own websites. For venues, we offer multiple ways to grow with us. Some partners start by reaching new customers through the partyplace marketplace, while others use our software to manage their direct reservations, payments, calendars, floor plans, and booking rules. Our goal is to solve each venue’s most immediate need, deliver measurable value, and expand the partnership over time. We’re making it easier for people to gather in real life, and we’re just getting started.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
