About the role

Driving new account acquisition and channel expansion, the full-time Key Account Manager, Grocery will manage a portfolio focused on pet treats across grocery chains in the western United States, emphasizing new authorizations and distribution growth. Key responsibilities: Develop new accounts by prioritizing target grocery banners and securing authorizations to meet store count and revenue targets Create and deliver data-driven presentations to buyers, advocating for assortment recommendations and promotional strategies Manage broker agencies by setting objectives, conducting business reviews, and ensuring accountability for distribution and revenue commitments Required qualifications: Three to seven years of progressive CPG sales experience, specifically in grocery Proven track record of opening new accounts rather than maintaining inherited ones Existing relationships with grocery buyers in the western U.S Experience managing brokers across multiple territories Bachelor's degree and residence within the territory with access to a major airport
