About the role
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, Walkie-Riders, Hi-Los, and pallet jacks
- Load and unload products safely and accurately
- Move, stack, and stage products throughout the warehouse
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Use RF scanners to track and move inventory
- Receive product and verify quantities
- Inspect products and pallets and report damage
- Complete required equipment inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with training new team members as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse standards
- Work overtime, including occasional weekends, when business needs require
- At least 36 months of forklift operating experience
- At least 36 months of warehouse experience
- Experience operating one or more of the following: sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, Walkie-Rider, Hi-Lo, or Cherry Picker
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and maintain required certification
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to safety and accuracyRF scanner experience preferred
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is a plus
- Sit or stand for extended periods
- Walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist as required
- Repeatedly lift, move, and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds
- Safely perform the physical tasks associated with warehouse and forklift operations
