Studio Assistant
Job Summary: PBS Utah is seeking a motivated and technically curious person tooperate studio cameras, perform as a floor/stage manager, hang andpoint lighting instruments, and set-up and strike studio sets. Thecandidate should have a solid understanding of televisionproduction techniques such as good framing and composition, andhave the ability to remain calm under pressure during livetelevision productions. Responsibilities: Operate a studio camera for live and pre-recordedproductions Stage manage Operate the studio lighting consoles Help setup and strike studio sets Assist with maintenance and cleaning of the studios and proprooms Communicate and work effectively with other team members Maintain a safe, clean and professional studio environment Follow all OSHA guidelines for ladder, lift and chemicalsafety Perform all other duties as assigned by the Studio Production Manager
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum 1 year of experience in studio production orequivalent. Preferences Valid Utah Driver's License Ability to climb a ladder and learn to use an electriclift Ability to occasionally lift/carry 40 lbs Requisition Number: PRN17478N Full Time or Part Time?: Part Time
Work Schedule Summary: Flexible working hours during normalbusiness hours. Candidate must be able to work Friday mornings, every other Tuesday morning, some Thursday mornings, and someafternoons.
