What You'll Do: Manage an assigned portfolio of CRE debt, including construction and mezzanine loans, across property types.- Run construction and future funding draws, checking each request against the approved budget and business plan.- Measure sponsor execution against underwriting (leasing, budget, rent growth, timing of the exit) and refresh cash flow models and asset valuations as property financials and rent rolls come in.- Monitor covenants and maturities, including DSCR, debt yield, reserves and extension conditions; keep risk ratings and the watchlist current.- Produce quarterly asset reviews and portfolio reports for investment committee and investors.- Work borrower requests (consents, modifications, extensions, partial releases) and run or support workouts and restructurings, including REO strategy, with outside counsel.- Oversee third-party servicers and outsourced surveillance providers, reviewing their reporting for accuracy.- Visit properties, stay close to sponsors, property managers and brokers, and bring portfolio lessons back to originations and underwriting.
What We're Looking For: 8+ years of CRE debt asset management experience at a real estate credit fund, mortgage REIT or bank lending group.- Hands-on experience running construction loan draws.- A sitting VP in asset management, or a senior associate ready to step into a VP seat.- Working knowledge of CRE loan documentation, including intercreditor and cash management provisions.- Cash flow modeling and advanced Excel skills.- Communicates clearly in writing and in person, from IC memos to investor reports.- Able to juggle multiple assets and deadlines independently.- Bachelor's in finance, economics, real estate or a related discipline.
Preferred: Direct experience with modifications, workouts or REO.- Transitional (bridge) lending across several property types.- Argus.- An MBA or CFA, completed or in progress.- Appetite to help build templates, policies and systems for the asset management function.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
