Contract Advisor – Regulatory Compliance Cybersecurity Management Consulting | ContractWE ARE NOT ACCEPTING AGENCY SUBMISSIONSCGS Cyber Defense is seeking an experienced Advisor – Regulatory Compliance Part-Time to help clients design, implement, and mature programs that assess and manage cybersecurity risk across vendors, suppliers, and other third parties. This role is ideal for a motivated professional, with strong interpersonal skills, eager to expand their expertise while supporting the delivery of client-facing projects and compliance framework implementations.
Responsibilities: Support the design and delivery of regulatory compliance projects, including:
  • Privacy and Artificial Intelligence legislation, regulation, and best practices
  • European and North America regions
  • Governance strategies
  • Daily, Monthly, Annual compliance operations requirements
Possess and maintain a strong understanding of Privacy and AI compliance requirements. Support in the development of Privacy and AI compliance operations runbooks Interview functional and technical stakeholders in the EU and US and document observations Provide input into ongoing compliance metrics and reporting dashboards to help clients measure audit readiness and improvement over time. Collaborate with senior consultants and leadership to develop recommendations that strengthen clients’ compliance posture. Contribute to client deliverable format, data, and clarity. Help facilitate workshops and meetings, and document resulting decisions and action items. Contribute to project management tasks such as tracking progress, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain standard operating procedures, templates, and knowledge repositories for internal use.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).· 5-7 years of professional experience in compliance, law, consulting, IT, cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields.· Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and AI concepts and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).· Experience applying strict confidentiality to privileged information and any information that could be ascertained as privileged, including but not limited to file storage and verbal and written communications.· Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational drivers and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.· Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.· Willingness to travel.on skills
