Assembler II
Location:
Dexter, MI 48130 Pay Rate: $21.50/hr, paid weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Contract Duration: 1 year Training: Must train on 1st shift for at least 2 weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Overview:
The Assembler performs electronic and production assembly work using written instructions, diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and established manufacturing procedures. This role includes assembling, inspecting, testing, modifying, and reworking products and components while maintaining required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly products and components using visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions. Set up initial layouts and use appropriate hand tools and assembly equipment. Perform continuity checks on work-in-process and completed assemblies. Conduct quality inspections in accordance with established, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies as needed. Support experimental or prototype assembly work according to established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, medical device manufacturing, or a combination of both.
Previous production or manufacturing assembly experience.
Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and visual aids.
Experience using hand tools and performing detailed assembly work.
Ability to perform inspection, testing, rework, and troubleshooting activities.
High School Diploma or GED.
