About the role
Traveling Assistant Superintendent – Commercial/Industrial Construction We are seeking a motivated Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects nationwide. This role will work closely with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily field operations and subcontractor coordination. Monitor project schedules, productivity, quality, and safety compliance. Review plans, identify potential issues, and support field problem-solving. Coordinate with project management and trade partners. Track progress and maintain accurate project documentation. Support site logistics, inspections, and project closeout.
Qualifications:
Experience in commercial or industrial construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively. Mechanical construction experience is preferred.
