Structural Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop preliminary studies and preparing plans for all structural projects including aviation, residential, retail and hospitality structures. Structural engineering and enclosure engineering on secondary steel Performing structural analysis tasks and design of building materials including, but not limited to: steel, prestressed and reinforced concrete, and timber design. Assisting in the preparation of construction documents (drawings and specifications) and ensuring all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations. Performing onsite investigations of structures and developing reports detailing findings and assessments under project leadership. Preparing meeting minutes and project progress reports. Performing other responsibilities as assigned. This is an in-person position. 4 days in office, 1 remote with site visits to NYC jobsites.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. PE preferred Architecture, construction detailing or visual art experience is preferred. Construction experience is preferred.3-5 years of related experience including structural engineering project experience. Proficiency in Revit is preferred. Proficiency in SAP, ETABS or RAM.Must be eligible to work in the US.Local candidates based in NYC area preferred.
