About the role

Job Description: DeLeers Construction is expanding our Painting Crews! We are looking for an experienced residential painter who enjoys the satisfying work of seeing a room transform with color. This person will be working in both our new construction builds and our maintenance division. In addition to full room painting, there is an opportunity to learn the techniques for color matching, faux finish, and decorative painting. This person will have the opportunity to interact with customers on site and must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. With over 80 years in business, DeLeers Construction specializes in design-build residential and light commercial structures so this person will get the opportunity to work in all areas. Based in DePere, WI, our work is in and around Green Bay and the Fox Valley, with some travel to beautiful Door County. DeLeers also offers a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, 401K with matching, paid vacation and holidays, a company profit sharing bonus program and a tool program. In addition to base rate and travel pay, for the occasional overnights you also receive a $45 daily per diem, single occupancy overnight accommodations, and a $3 shift premium for working hours. Please note, that most of our work is home daily. Ideal candidates must have at least 3+ years of residential painting experience.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
