About the role
Serving as the primary G/L accountant for multiple network companies in transition, the full-time Senior Transition GL Accountant will manage the cleanup of accounting processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, and facilitate smooth transitions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Clean up payroll, benefits liabilities, accruals, and other financial components before handing off to ongoing team members
Assist with GL/ERP migrations and system integrations, ensuring accurate reconciliations across balance sheet accounts
Train onsite staff on new workflows and document standard operating procedures for future reference
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Experience with GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in GL/ERP systems and accounting software
Strong understanding of payroll and inventory processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
