📍 Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York City💰 Salary: $43,200 – $65,000📅 Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday⏰ Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM🏢 Environment: Large-scale, premier law firm office
The Opportunity: The Facilities Assistant will support the day-to-day operation and upkeep of a nearly 500,000-square-foot New York office, working closely with Facilities leadership and supporting attorneys and professional staff throughout the firm.
Responsibilities will include: • Preparing offices and workspaces for new hires, departures, and internal moves• Monitoring and responding to internal facilities requests• Coordinating HVAC, lighting, maintenance, and building-related service requests• Setting up spaces for meetings, events, trials, and hearings• Moving, assembling, and adjusting office furniture• Maintaining clean, organized, and professional common areas and workspaces• Conducting regular floor walks and identifying maintenance needs• Assisting with office moves, packing, furniture repairs, and special projects• Working directly with attorneys, staff, building management, and Facilities leadership
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.✓ High school diploma or equivalent required✓ Prior facilities experience is a plus✓ Strong customer service and communication skills✓ Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment✓ Comfortable working in a fast-paced professional setting✓ Basic Microsoft Office experience beneficial✓ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when business needs require
