I've partnered with a newly established specialty insurance business, backed by an experienced leadership team who hold exceptional industry reputations, on the search for a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance function. As part of the growing international finance team, you’ll have the opportunity to help build the function from the ground up working closely with colleagues in both the UK and US. It’s a varied role in a fast-moving environment, ideal for an accountant who wants to understand the bigger picture, make a real impact and be part of building something from the start. This is a broad, high-impact role for someone who wants to do more than traditional accounting. You’ll have exposure across financial reporting, planning and forecasting, management information and finance systems, while working closely with senior leadership and helping shape the finance function as the business scales. You’ll be someone who: A CPA qualified Accountant with c3 years PQEHas a strong technical accounting background working within the Insurance market Enjoys analysing numbers and turning them into meaningful business insight Is confident working across US GAAP, statutory reporting and month-end processes Likes improving processes, systems and ways of working rather than simply maintaining them Is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners Salary on offer is up to $100k + bonus, benefits and remote working.*Must live within commuting distance of central Chicago
