Pay: $21–$23 per hour, depending on qualifications Western Trailers is looking for an IT Technical Support Technician to help employees across our locations with the technology they use every day. Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll handle routine support requests, troubleshoot issues in person and remotely, and ensure complex problems reach the right resources. In this role, you will: Support employee computers, software, printers, mobile devices, user accounts, and connectivity. Configure and deploy workstations and other endpoint devices; assist with upgrades, replacements, and routine updates. Help with employee account setup and changes, Microsoft 365, and first-line support for ERP, AutoCAD, manufacturing, and other approved applications. Troubleshoot basic network, VPN, phone, and conferencing issues. Track requests and resolutions, maintain IT equipment records, and communicate clearly with employees. Follow established security and access procedures and escalate complex system, network, application, and security issues to the IT Manager.
What we’re looking for: An associate degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; practical troubleshooting skills; and a helpful approach to supporting employees. Two years of desktop or help desk experience and relevant technical certifications are preferred. This onsite role requires local travel between Western Trailers locations and a clean driving record.
