Role Description:
The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing HR operations and supporting a distributed workforce. This position manages the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager develops and implements HR policies, supports employee relations, and serves as a trusted resource for managers and team members on HR matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating benefits and payroll information with relevant internal partners, maintaining accurate HR records, handling employee inquiries, and contributing to initiatives that promote engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture. The role also involves partnering with leadership on workforce planning and providing data-driven HR insights to support business goals.
Qualifications:
Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy administration.
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices for remote and multi-state workforces.
Proficiency in HRIS and related HR tools, with the ability to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across departments.
Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a remote setting.
Experience developing and delivering training, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Prior experience in an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role; experience in manufacturing, construction, or signage industries is a plus.
