Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM PST
Compensation: $22–$25/hour
About the Role: Pond Lehocky Giordano is growing its Social Security Disability practice and is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Social Security Disability Intake Specialist to join our remote team. You’ll serve as an important first point of contact for current workers’ compensation clients who may also qualify for Social Security Disability benefits. You’ll guide clients through the initial intake process, gather information about their work and medical history, explain what to expect, and help qualified clients take the next step with our legal team. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can build trust quickly, communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
What You’ll Do: Contact current workers’ compensation clients to explain Social Security Disability benefits and screen for potential eligibility Conduct detailed intake interviews in English and Spanish Gather information regarding work history, medical conditions, treatment, and daily limitations Explain the SSD process and next steps clearly and compassionately Complete intake questionnaires and obtain electronically signed documents Maintain accurate and thorough notes and client information in internal systems Coordinate with attorneys and case teams to transition qualified cases Follow up consistently with clients who are difficult to reach Provide a professional and compassionate experience to clients throughout the intake process Meet daily call, activity, and performance expectations
What You Bring: Fluency in English and Spanish Strong phone presence and excellent interpersonal communication skills Warm, patient, and empathetic approach when speaking with clients Excellent listening and attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-volume call environment Strong organization, documentation, and follow-through Comfortable learning case management software and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Must be located in the United States
Nice to Have: Experience in a law firm, legal intake, call center, or client services environment Familiarity with Social Security Disability/SSDI/SSIWorkers’ compensation experience Familiarity with medical terminology Experience working with bilingual or Spanish-speaking clients
