About the role
Supply Chain Customer Service Representative This is a Supply Chain Customer Service Representative in Durham, NC supporting Diagnostics customers by managing SAP order entry, coordinating outbound shipments/logistics providers (track & trace, compliance), and ensuring on-time delivery. Requires 2–3 years in supply chain/logistics plus strong Excel/Office skills and SAP experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain world-class relationships with External and Internal Diagnostics Customers, including the Commercial Operations and Technical Support departments. Assist with ensuring on-time and complete delivery of goods to Diagnostics Customers in the Americas region by developing and maintaining key relationships with all Logistics providers (manufacturers, warehouses, and freight carriers).Be a key member of the America's Supply Chain Organization responsible for process development to improve efficiency and contribute to Cost Savings Initiatives. Deliver quality products and services on time to all customers, internal and external. Provide employees with training and resources to meet or exceed customer requirements. Monitor processes and products to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Coordinate and manage outbound shipments to Customers, including facilitating import permits, meeting logistic requirements, and related processes. Manage the Track and Trace process to ensure meeting the validated shipping requirements. Handle customer invoicing and SOX compliance. Assist with managing Logistics Providers, including 3PL warehouses and Freight Carriers. Maintain SAP transactions to ensure data integrity and traceability of products. Contribute to Supply Chain strategic and special projects. Collaborate with Planning/Procurement team for ongoing analysis of inventory levels to meet customer requirements. Analyze Supply Chain KPIs, including Customers On-time Delivery Performance. Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager. Understand customer needs, educate customers, build collaborative relationships, and take actions to meet customer needs and concerns.
Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP (preferably MM/SD modules).Working knowledge of MS Office components, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Prior experience in air transportation, customs clearance processes, and international logistics is desirable.
Proven ability to work under pressure and with ambiguity.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to focus on key customer needs.
APICS certification/Six Sigma or equivalent is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate's degree, advanced training, or equivalent experience required.2-3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics roles.
