About the role

GSRP Lead Preschool Teacher Little World Child Care Center is seeking a qualified and dependable GSRP Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a high-quality, play-based classroom in Eastpointe, Michigan. This full-time position pays $25 per hour. This position also includes a $1,000 school-year sign-on bonus, subject to the center's eligibility and payment terms.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with the approved GSRP curriculum. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom through active supervision. Complete required child observations, assessments, lesson plans, and program documentation. Support children's academic, physical, and social-emotional development. Build positive partnerships with families through regular communication, conferences, and required home visits. Collaborate with the associate teacher, administrators, and support specialists while following GSRP standards, Michigan childcare licensing requirements, and center policies.
Qualifications: Must meet current Michigan GSRP lead teacher education and credential requirements. Previous preschool or early childhood classroom experience is preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain. Must be eligible to pass required background checks, fingerprinting, health and TB requirements, and MiRegistry documentation. Strong classroom management, communication, organization, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
