The Director of Manufacturing Reliability provides strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing reliability, the Omnium business-unit engineering organization and sites, enterprise asset management, and process improvement function across a multi-site agribusiness manufacturing network. What You Get to DoEstablish and execute a multi-year reliability strategy aligned with safety, quality, service, cost, growth, and overall manufacturing performance objectives. Govern standards for asset criticality, asset-care strategies, preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, root-cause analysis, CMMS work processes, and critical-spares management. Provide strategic direction, resource planning, and technical leadership for business-unit engineering teams and site operations. Lead the Process Improvement team using structured methodologies (4DX, TPM, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC) to drive throughput, labor productivity, material yield, and cost optimization. Embed Reliability by Design into capital project definitions, equipment selection, design reviews, installation, commissioning, startup, and turnover. Partner with Digital, IT/OT, Operations, and Controls Engineering to advance connected assets, condition monitoring, CMMS platforms, and data integration. Build, lead, and develop reliability, engineering, and process-improvement professionals while establishing enterprise Communities of Practice. Directly influence operational continuity, plant capability, capital allocation, and long-term asset risk across all manufacturing locations. What You NEED to SUCCEED in This Challenging Role Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline (advanced technical or business degree preferred).Progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, reliability, maintenance, process improvement, operations, or capital-project execution, including significant multi-site leadership. Demonstrated expertise in asset management, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), preventive/predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, root-cause analysis, CMMS work processes, and equipment lifecycle planning. Experience leading business-unit or site engineering teams and developing multi-year capital, infrastructure, automation, and reliability roadmaps. Strong command of operational-excellence methods such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, statistical analysis, capacity modeling, and standard work. Proven ability to translate asset risks and technical opportunities into compelling business cases, capital recommendations, and measurable financial benefits. Experience developing technical talent, defining career paths, and leading communities of practice within a matrixed organization. Preferred experience in food, dairy, feed, agriculture, ingredients, or other regulated continuous/batch manufacturing environments. What Is in It for YOU at This "Best Places to Work" Company?
