About the role
Pride Health is hiring Medical Receptionist / Customer Service / Administration to support our client’s medical facility based in White Plains, NY. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Medical Receptionist / Customer Service / Administration
Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: 1st shift M-F, 9:00 - 5:30pm EST Pay Range/Salary Range: $20 - $22
Contract Duration: 5+ months
Job Description:
Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and courteously. Troubleshoot issues, provide timely follow-up, and escalate concerns when needed. Report laboratory results following established protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Educate customers on laboratory processes and procedures. Protect confidential customer and patient information. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare experience. Hands-on knowledge of medical terminology required. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and listening skills. Professional and tactful manner when handling stressful situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Work Requirements:
