About the role
Respiratory Care Practitioner Performs respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to provide ventilator assistance to, or evaluation of, patients with acute or chronic respiratory disease in critical, general, and emergency care areas for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatrics.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the South Carolina State Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required at time of hire or:
- CRT (RRT Eligible) - RRT must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hireCRT (RRT Ineligible) RRT must be obtained within twenty-four (24) months of hire
