We are seeking motivated applicants for our full-time Pilatus PC-12 Captain position based at Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO). Our aircraft are meticulously maintained by highly experienced, OEM-trained maintenance professionals that are dedicated to unmatched quality. As a growing Part 91 aircraft management company headquartered in the Washington DC area, Kuhn Aviation operates a diverse fleet of corporate aircraft from our state-of-the-art hangar facility and from locations across the US.This position is non-commutable and the hired applicants must reside within a two hour drive to Leesburg, VA prior to beginning work. This role is intended for long-term career growth with a fast-growing private aviation company, not as a temporary time-building position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Recent Pilatus PC-12 Legacy/NG/NGX experience with 500 hours in typeFAA ATP Certificate with minimum 2,500 hours total time and 500 hours turbine International experience with no international travel restrictions Part 135, Park 91K, VIP/dignitary, and/or Part 91 corporate flight department experience as a Captain/PICA clean airman record with no accidents or violationsFAA CFI/CFIIExperience with turbine single pilot operations Minimum qualifications belowCAPTAIN MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Pilatus PC-12 experience or experience in single/twin turboprop, light jet, or similar aircraft categoriesFAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and 1,500 hours total time and 200 hours turbine time Part 135, Park 91K, VIP/dignitary, and/or Part 91 corporate flight department experience as a Captain, First Officer Attention to detail, the ability to think \"outside of the box\", and a team-centric mentalityA clean driving record with the ability to pass a background check Valid US PassportFCC Radiotelephone Operators License Valid FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical Comprehensive and demonstrable knowledge on IFR procedures, the national airspace system, turbine/operations, aviation weather, international operations, interpersonal communications, and crew resource management. Ability to lift large items that are sometimes up to 75lbs while working in hot, cold, or wet weather conditions.______________________________________We believe in hiring for the long term.
