About the role

****This is NOT a job at ForceBrands*****We are working with an established, global organization in the Promotional and Branded Merchandise space to hire a Senior Account Manager focused on their North American beauty and retail business. This person will manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients while identifying new commercial opportunities. The role is approximately 80% account management and 20% new business development. We are looking for someone who combines exceptional customer service with a strong sales mentality and can manage everything from complex client briefs and product development to strategic account growth.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow key beauty, retail, and consumer client relationships across North America. Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders across marketing, procurement, and other client functions. Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships, increase revenue, and develop new business. Develop account plans that support both client objectives and commercial growth. Manage multiple client projects and briefs simultaneously from initial concept through final delivery. Support the development of bespoke branded merchandise, gifting, packaging, and product solutions. Partner closely with creative, sourcing, compliance, supply chain, and operational teams. Serve as a key link between North American clients and global internal teams. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong commercial and growth-oriented mindset. Contribute to the continued growth and scale of the North American business.
Candidate Profile: 5+ years in client service or account management, ideally working with FMCG and beauty/personal care/retail brands. Demonstrated success managing and growing important client relationships. Experience within branded merchandise, promotional products, product development, gifting, beauty, retail, FMCG/CPG, or an adjacent industry. Ability to identify opportunities within existing accounts and develop new business. Experience managing multiple clients, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills. Experience working with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, or supply chain is highly relevant. Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating closely with international and cross-functional teams. Entrepreneurial, people-focused, and energized by helping grow a business rather than simply maintaining existing accounts. New York City Metro Area is required. This is a remote position with regular domestic and occasional international client travel.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
