Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their Miami team, supporting a growing portfolio of civic and public‑sector projects. This role is ideal for a licensed architect who enjoys leading technically sound, community‑impact projects from concept through construction and collaborating within an integrated A/E/S environment. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural projects from programming and concept design through construction administration. Develop and coordinate design development and construction documents with a focus on clarity, constructability, and compliance. Apply best practices related to life‑safety, ADA accessibility, durability, and operational functionality, particularly for public‑facing facilities. Coordinate architectural scope with structural, civil, MEP, and surveying teams. Support site development, stormwater and drainage coordination, and agency review requirements. Ensure compliance with local and state codes, zoning, and permitting standards. Participate in QA/QC reviews to maintain high technical standards. Serve as key point of contact with municipal clients, consultants, and internal teams. Support stakeholder meetings, agency reviews, and permitting processes. Translate community and client needs into clear, buildable documentation. Conduct site visits and field observations. Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support construction administration. Assist in resolving field conditions while maintaining design intent. Mentor junior architectural staff and support technical development. Collaborate across disciplines and offices in a team‑oriented environment. Adapt to evolving project needs with flexibility and initiative.
