About the role
- Have experience working within schools, at the middle level.
- Have experience working with children presenting with emotional and behavioral health challenges.
- Have comfort marrying a foundational ABA approach to a multidisciplinary conception of a students' needs.
- Have an understanding of collaborative problem-solving strategies/solutions.
- Are comfortable supporting students in the inclusion classroom as well as running and coordinating small group skills-building curricula.
- Are able to maintain an even and professional disposition when students are distressed.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Working With SSP Students:
- School-based management of SSP students:
- Follow and implement programmatic protocol, such as case reviews, referrals, entry meetings with parents and staff, etc.
- Organize and maintain student information associated with each student, including student needs tracking forms, data collection results, collateral information, notes regarding parent and staff updates, etc.
- Master's degree with an emphasis in ABA, Psychology, Sp.
- Ed. or a related fieldBCBA Certification through the BACBMA State Licensure as an Applied Behavior Analyst
