Opportunities: We are currently seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with running daily pharmacy operations! What You Will Do: Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate and prompt customer service. Collect essential patient information required to process prescription orders. Enter new prescriptions, process refills, and maintain accurate patient profiles. Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needs. Ring up customers for prescriptions and over-the-counter items. Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation Communicate with doctor's offices and insurance companies when needed Accurately count and dispense medications. Communicate directly with the pharmacist. Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations.
What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of pharmacy technician experience and the following credentials/skills:
  • Pharmacy Technician License (preferred)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
  • Basic math skills (required)
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask (required)
  • Excellent customer service skills (required)
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance (required)
