Project ManagerBalfour Beatty Construction, in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Project Manager to join our K-12 Education team in the local Atlanta area. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.Essential FunctionsProject Financial AnalysisPreconstruction CoordinationProject SchedulingProject Administration, Operations, and Close-outPromote Customer and Community RelationsFoster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee DevelopmentMinimum RequirementsB.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.10-15 years or more of experience in a commercial construction project management role.Three years or more of direct supervisory experience.Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s).Preferred QualificationsLocal candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.K-12/Higher Education project experience, project size $10-30M.Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Architecture.Balfour Beatty is an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
