About the role
We are seeking a Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based anatomic pathology setting. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities. Assignment Details: Start: July 2026 Ongoing coverage Single-site hospital setting
Schedule: Monday Friday8:00 AM 4:30 PMNo call
No weekends
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based anatomic pathologyEMR: Meditech
Support staff available
Work Details:
- General surgical pathology
- CytopathologyFrozen section interpretation
- Basic clinical pathology
Procedures / Skills: Frozen sections (on-site)
Grossing (with tech support; occasional backup required)
Additional Details:
- No autopsies required
- Majority case mix includes GI pathology
- Cytology/FNA experience preferred
- Backup pathologist and outside lab support available
- Support Staff:
- Dedicated grossing technician
Requirements:
- Physician (MD/DO)
- Comfortable with general pathology workflow and frozen sections
