About the role

New Business Development Executive, US Market Intellectual Property Data & Technology | Remote (US) / Hybrid
About the Role: We're looking for a driven, hunter-mentality New Business Development Executive to lead our expansion across the United States. This is a pure new-logo role — you'll be targeting law firms, corporate legal departments, and IP professionals who need best-in-class trademark, patent, and brand-protection search and monitoring solutions. If you thrive on prospecting, building pipeline from scratch, and closing complex B2B deals with legal and IP decision-makers, this is your seat.
What You'll Do: Own the full new-business sales cycle across the US — prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing Build and manage a target account list across law firms, corporate legal/IP departments, and brand-protection teams Run outbound campaigns (cold outreach, Linked In, events, referrals) to generate your own pipeline — this is not an inbound-lead role Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to IP search, watch, and monitoring workflows Negotiate commercial terms and manage the deal through to signature Represent the company at industry conferences and legal/IP trade events across the USWork closely with marketing and data teams to refine ICP targeting and messaging for the US market Consistently hit and exceed quarterly new-business revenue targets
What We're Looking For: Proven track record as a hunter — new-business sales, not account management — ideally 3+ years in SaaS, legal tech, or data/information services Experience selling to law firms, corporate legal departments, or IP/brand-protection professionals is a strong plus (not essential)Comfortable running a long, consultative sales cycle with legal and procurement stakeholders Confident, resilient, and self-motivated — genuinely energized by cold outreach and pipeline building Strong presentation and negotiation skills Based in the US, with willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events What's On Offer Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure Genuine autonomy to build and own the US market Ground-floor opportunity with a fast-growing, global IP data platform Remote-first with flexibility, occasional travel to HQ/team offsites

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
