About the role
Working remotely, the full-time Associate Case Manager will collaborate with Case Managers to provide access and therapy management services, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service for a portfolio of products.
Key responsibilities
Verify and re-verify insurance coverage and benefit details through direct contact with payers
Manage incoming referrals and maintain workflow for sorting and distribution of communications
Research payer Prior Authorization Processes and support the Case Management Team with necessary documentation
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
1-2 years of experience in customer service, account management, case management, or healthcare field experience, with rare disease experience preferred
Knowledge of private payer, Medicare, and Medicaid structures and reimbursement processes
Experience in a high-volume patient services program preferred
Self-starter with a passion for rare disease and the company's core values
