About the role
Game Day Merchandise Associates The Trenton Ironhawks are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Game Day Merchandise Associates. This is a part-time, game-day position responsible for helping fans have a great shopping experience while representing the Ironhawks brand throughout the season.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist with merchandise sales at Ironhawks home games
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to fans
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process transactions
- Assist with setting up and breaking down merchandise locations before and after games
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing merchandise area
- Restock merchandise and help monitor inventory throughout games
- Assist with counting and organizing merchandise before and after events
- Answer customer questions regarding products, sizing, pricing, and availability
- Represent the Trenton Ironhawks in a professional and positive manner
- Assist the merchandise team with other game-day tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Availability for the majority of Trenton Ironhawks home games is required
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting/moving merchandise
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus
- Previous experience with POS systems is a plus
- Sports or event experience is a plus
ScheduleThis is a part-time, game-day position. Most shifts will take place during Trenton Ironhawks home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be available to work the majority of home games throughout the season.
