We are headquartered in Rio Rico, Arizona, with additional operations in Nogales, Mexico. Gillman is an ISO9100-registered manufacturer of high-reliability electrical cables and harnesses for military ground vehicles and other ruggedized applications. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager Will be mainly responsible for quoting. Their duties include researching tooling and equipment and entering BOMs into kNet (Quoting system) Maintain assigned goals. Most importantly, they need to support the department's KPIs. They need to be willing to understand the product firsthand.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6 months of experience in manufacturing, or a degree in a technical field with four years of experience in manufacturing cable harnesses. Computer knowledge in: Microsoft Office. CAD design software. English, written and spoken, 60% minimum.
Other Duties: designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency, and planning factory layouts to maximize production efficiency. Balancing lines.
