Position Overview:
Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Endoscopy to support the outpatient GI Center at the CHA Somerville Campus.
This is an outpatient endoscopy center focused on elective procedures, serving adult patients ages 18–95. Common patient needs include colon cancer screenings, rectal bleeding, and other GI-related procedures.
The RN may support patients throughout the pre-op, procedure, and PACU/recovery areas and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Unit Details
4 procedure rooms
5 pre-op bays
5 PACU bays
Adult patient population: ages 18–95
Outpatient/elective procedures
Floating may be required
Scrub color: Any color
No on-call responsibilities
No weekend requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience
Current AHA BLS
Current AHA ACLS
SGNA certification preferred
Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered
Strong outpatient endoscopy experience preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Must be willing to work rotating shifts
Must be able to float as needed
Patterns Hiring Job ID #NANC-0204-1007. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
